Polka - Dot Scarf and Cowl Class

The Polka-Dot scarf and cowl are cozy and stylish patterns that are easy and fun to make!  The name of these patterns were inspired by the polka-dot fabric that is created using a fun knitting pattern. 

The finished scarf size is about 6 1/2"wide and 79 1/2" long. The finished cowl size is about 22" wide and 38" long. 

The scarf is knit using 2 contrasting colors of Malabrigo Arroyo yarn. The sample is knit with the colors Natural and Pleiades. 

The cowl is knit using 2 contrasting colors of Berroco Vintage Chunky yarn. The sample is knit with the colors Sour Cherry and Smoke.

RECOMMENDED YARNS: 
2 skeins of Malabrigo Arroyo in contrasting colors for the scarf
2 skeins of Berroco Vintage Chunky in main color (MC) and 1 skein of Berroco Vintage Chunky for contrasting color (CC) for the cowl

SUPPLIES NEEDED:
- Size 5 needles, circular or straight (tight knitters may want a larger size needles) for the scarf
- Size 10 needles, circular or straight (tight knitters may want large size needles) for the cowl
- 5 3/4 inch buttons for button band on cowl (not needed if knitting the scarf)
- 2 stitch markers
